Kitchen Remodel

.

The Podestas, and the sub-contractors who they hire, are true craftsmen who care about their projects and do excellent work. My husband is a former carpenter who can be very critical and almost comically hard to please and he has only positive things to say about working with the Podestas and the quality of their work. We’re so happy with our new kitchen that we’re planning to have the Podestas back to add a finished bedroom and bathroom to our garage and to install new windows.

We improved the layout for this outdated kitchen of a typical one-story over-garage San Francisco home to open up to the adjoining dining room. Features include frameless walnut cabinets for a more transitional feel, plus a new peninsula, a pantry, a wine bar, and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. We remedied the kitchen sink area by shifting a window and centering the sink to accommodate a dishwasher on one side and a pull-out trash/recycle station on the other.
