Davis Residence. The objective of the project was to modernize the front elevation of the Client’s home and to also balance the scale of the home by adding a balcony and planter box. The existing shingles at the front of the house were replaced with color-coated flat textured stucco. The front windows were replaced with Quantum windows. A custom balcony was added below the upstairs bedroom window and new panels that matched the planter box were added to fill the void between balcony and the lower level windows. Project challenges included engineering requirements to support the balcony and planter box and balcony supports that aligned perfectly between lower windows. These improvements were part of a whole house remodel for the Owner.
