Matt Podesta: Guiding Podesta Construction's Success
From Early Experience to Industry Leadership
Matt has been the President of Podesta Construction since 2008, overseeing the firm's daily operations. He gained early experience in the remodeling industry working with his father and later earned a B.A. in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara. After starting his career at KPMG as a Senior Accountant and earning a CPA license, he worked as a Revenue Manager at Cyras Systems. In 2001, Matt returned to Podesta Construction as Vice President, leading the company to become one of the Top 50 Design-Build firms in the nation. He has held leadership roles in the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NARI and has earned multiple industry awards for his contributions.
Brandan Podesta - Lead Designer
Expertise in Design and Architecture
Brandan Podesta, AIA has been the lead designer and architect at Podesta Construction since 2006, bringing extensive experience in both residential and commercial projects. Eight years after the company was formed in 1986, Brandan started working for his father doing the actual hands-on work which has given him a keen understanding and working knowledge of every aspect of construction, from demolition to finish work. Brandan's journey from laborer to licensed architect has equipped him with a unique blend of hands-on experience and architectural expertise. His work, recognized with multiple awards, spans whole house renovations, additions, kitchens, and bathrooms. Brandan holds a Master's degree in Architecture and a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics.
