We remodeled this 1930s galley style kitchen by expanding its area and improving its functionality with modern storage accessories. A combination of wood, metal, and glass achieved a dramatic balance of contemporary and traditional styles to suit the homeowners’ design aesthetic. We added two large windows to let the sunshine in by day, and recessed task lighting in place of upper cabinets to illuminate the room by night.

We came to Matt and Brandan Podesta with a general design and layout to which they made great aesthetic and technical improvements. Our foreman, Steve, was always professional and courteous, and kept the house amazingly clean throughout the renovation process. The work took longer than anticipated, but was well worth the wait for the quality and attention to detail to ensure a beautiful result. We would definitely use them again.
